The APPG for Funerals and Bereavement has written to the Treasury and to the Department of Health and Social Care to call for a VAT exemption to be reinstated for PPE and for those who work in the funeral sector to be included with front line care staff as vaccinations for COVID-19 begin to be rolled out.
